Executive Leadership Mentor & Author · Founder, MC Publishing LLC
International operator. Olympic team leader. Survivor. Forty years
across software, consulting, and healthcare — now the mentor
high achievers quietly call when the wheels come off and trust
has to be rebuilt from the inside out.
Gil earned a BA in International Finance and German from Hiram College
and an MBA from Cleveland State University, then built a 40-year
international career managing companies across the U.S., Europe, and
Asia. He has served as Chief Operating Officer at Mentor,
as Vice President of Business Strategy across software and technical
consulting sectors, and as Management Consultant and Principal at
Mastery Concepts, where he worked with organizations on leadership
and productivity. Earlier he led human resources at the National
Health Council, contributing to patient-centered health policy.
Beyond business, Gil served as Team Leader for the U.S. Equestrian
Federation at the 2007 Pan American Games and the 2008 Olympic Games.
He now lives in South Florida and writes full time, channeling decades
of lessons into books that refuse to sugarcoat the journey. His memoir
work reflects a deeply personal story of survival through abuse,
bullying, betrayal, and setbacks — and his decision to pursue
an Olympic dream anyway. His chapter reflects a theme he has lived
in his own skin: trust in yourself, trust in your work, and trust
in the people you choose to walk with is what carries a person
through the seasons when nothing is guaranteed.
